Ty is currently a Graphic Designer at Capital Sign Solutions, assisting with the design, layout, printing and production of all signage. Ty is driven to apply his knowledge of design to the signage industry, and enjoys tackling new and undiscovered aspects of signage every day. He is also active in his church, for whom he designed a logo.
• <H1> John KuhlsPermitting Officer John is a Permit Specialist at Capital Sign Solutions. He has 2 years’ experience in the signage industry, but has spent the majority of his professional career in the human resources field in both private and public sectors. John applies for all permits related to every signage project, including permits for the type of signage, dimensions, and installation of the proposed sign. John also completes all permit applications, reviews and interprets signage plans and artwork to ensure their compliance with legal requirements, and approves and signs off on plans that meet statutory requirements. For John, seeing our finished products installed within the appropriate legal parameters inspires him to continue excelling at his craft. John is active in the United Way and contributes to research for Muscular Dystrophy.
• <H1> Marco GarciaGraphic Production Supervisor As a Graphic Production Supervisor, Marco puts his 14 years’ experience in managing and supervising graphic production to work. In his position at Capital Sign Solutions, Marco plans and directs all highly technical graphic arts design and production activities. Marco determines the graphic design needs of our customers and assists in their completion and production. He also directs and participates in all forms of graphic demonstration and presentation. Marco is devoted to employing his creativity on a daily basis, and enjoys the chance to see his work around the Triangle.

With some sign industry experience and a degree in Simulation and Design he finds that his skills are pushed in new ways daily. She has a passion for clean, eye-catching design that maintains brand identity and is very excited to learn how to design signage for clients. When Kristen isn’t at work you can catch her adventuring with her dogs in the great outdoors or at a venue enjoying her love for live music.
• <H1> Matt SullivanRegional Business Developer In everything he does, Matthew Sullivan, Regional Business Developer, is driven to be a great player on a great team. It started when he was just a kid. Matt was an avid basketball player growing up – practicing countless hours in youth leagues and his family’s driveway. His hard work paid off at age 11 when Matt became the Elks Club Tennessee State Free Throw Champion by setting the record of making 49 straight free throws. Now Matt channels that determination and drive into providing great customer service and results for our clients. “At Capital Sign Solutions, we know how important your sign is to the growth and value of your brand, and we take our role as brand stewards very seriously,” Matt says. “I enjoy collaborating with clients and delivering a product that’s even better than the client envisioned – the wow factor at the end of a project is rewarding.” Before joining CSS, Matt worked in real estate investment and property management, and was in outside sales for a national window and door manufacturer. Matt is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in management. When he is not working, you can usually find Matt spending time with his wife Logan, and their three children.
